On March 16th, 2018, Faculty of Finance and Banking of Foreign Trade University (FTU) cooperated with Securities Investment Club – SIC and Vietcombank Securities Co., Ltd (VCBS) held a press conference of “I-INVEST 2018” Competition.
On the side of FTU, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy – Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Dung – Dean of Faculty of Finance and Banking, MSc. Hoang Tuan Dung – Secretary of Youth Union, Deputy Director of Student Support Center.
On the guests side, there was Mr. Do Anh Vu – Deputy Chief of the State Securities Commission of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Linh – Research and Development Director of Hanoi Stock Exchange, Mr. Tran Viet Hung – Deputy Director of VCBS, representatives of donors, sponsors and news agencies.
The representative of SIC has announced official rules, forms, awards, companion events,…. “I-INVEST 2018”. Questions from journalists and students were answered at the press conference.
This competition is organized to create a playground with the opportunity to challenge the knowledge as well as practical experience for students who have passion in economics-finance- securities. At the same time, it is also fulfilled the mission to enlighten young talents in stock sector in Vietnam.
After 8 times of “I-INVEST”, the competition has encouraged students to improve their knowledge and enhance level to pursue passion. In addition, it is also supported companies and enterprises to participate in training necessary skills for the participant candidates in order to develop potential human resources.
At the press conference, the cooperation agreement to organize “I-INVEST 2018” Competition was also officially signed between FTU and the main sponsor – Vietcombank Securities Co., Ltd (VCBS).
