Business meeting with Dr Amir Mahmoudzadeh, Head of the Shakhes Pajouh Research Institute (Iran) and Dr Noel Jones, Shakhes Pajouh Research Institute

In November 24th 2016, Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Thu Thuy, Vice President of Foreign Trade University (FTU) had the business meeting with Dr Amir Mahmoudzadeh, Head of Shakes Pajouh Research Institute, Iran.

Shakes Pajouh Research Institute was founded in 2001 with the permission from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran. Three research centers of the institute are Research Center of Administration, Research center of Geography and Research center of Construction.

The two parties had discussed about the partnership potentials on various sectors, such as the connection of entrepreneur support activities, organizing mutual conferences, partner research on the economic relationship between Iran and ASEAN, development of graduate programs for Iranian students, as well as students – faculty exchange. Dr Amir Mahmoudzadeh had invited the representative of FTU to participate in the international conference in economics and administration held in Iran in the February of 2017. The two parties also signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as the recognition for the discussed issues in the meeting and the foundation for events cooperation in the future.
