Established in 1960, FTU has headquarter in Hanoi, Viet Nam and 2 campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh province.
FTU has 11 Undergraduate programs, consisting of 23 majors, of which 6 are taught in English and 17 are standard programs; 8 Graduate programs and 2 Doctoral programs. Besides, FTU also offers a number of joint undergraduate and graduate programs in cooperation with international education institutions from United Kingdom, United States of America, Denmark, Japan, France, etc..
Students from FTU are highly appreciated by domestic and foreign employers; they are also well-known for their knowledge and professional skills, adaptability and creativity. According to independent survey output by FTU External Accreditation Committee, there are 96.6% of students are employed within 1 year since graduation.
FTU firmly determines that education quality assurance and improvement are ultimate goals as well as strategic solution. FTU also pays significant attention to quality assurance, tries their best to complete required education accreditation, including institutional accreditation and program accreditation.
On April 11st, 2017, FTU has met required criteria for national education standards as per the Ministry of Education and Training’s regulations.
The Education Accreditation result has once again proved FTU position, prestige and quality; FTU member of staff’s effort during time of changes, difficulties and modest stability, which all contribute to enhancement of FTU staff’s awareness on quality assurance and are important forces of FTU in continuous quality improvement to meet regional and international standards. It is also important evidence of education quality for FTU, to give students and employers information in education institution selection.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – President of FTU said that improving education and training programmes will be the university’s key goals in the coming years. The university will focus on improving its education programmes through facility and quality audits.
