On 21th March 2017, Faculty of International Education – Foreign Trade University held the parent-teacher meeting for the first year of program Bachelor of Business cooperated with Bedfordshire University, United Kingdom and program Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism & Hospitality Management cooperated with Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College, Denmark.
This is an annual meeting between the university and parents of the students joining the joint bachelor programs in order to reinforce the family-university interrelationship and to manage and enhance the quality of the students.
The meeting was participated by majority first-year students and parents. Through the meeting, parents understood more clearly about the joint program, the conditions, assessment process following international standard. They got to know the students’ condition and the strict English requirements the students must achieve after completing year 1 of the program. These usual exchange-information activities between the universities and the students’ families are practical and effective in stressing the roles of both sides in educating and managing the students, which will help to improve the quality of the students joining the program. The parent-teacher meeting also increases the opportunity to open up the network between Foreign Trade University and many different corporations.
