In the morning of 7th, September, 2015, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – President of Foreign Trade University signed a cooperation agreement in Parallel Undergraduate Training between Foreign Trade University (Vietnam) and Kobe University (Japan).
Kobe University is one of the leading public multi-disciplinary universities in Japan, which has the outstanding advantages of Economics, Business and Commercial Law.
Foreign Trade University was formally established cooperation with the University of Kobe in 2007. Since then, the two universities have had a number of collaborative activities that was performed and there were many students and lecturers of Foreign Trade University attained Bachelor, Master, PhD of the Kobe University.
In February, 2015, the two universities have established the contact foundation of Kobe University in Hanoi. The facility is located at the Office of Japanese faculty of Foreign Trade University.
Foreign Trade University determines that Kobe University is one of the key partners in the development strategy and commitment to prioritize resources to promote the development of this partnership.
Both universities have discussed and agreed that the cooperation between them will focus on the following key activities:
– Implement the Parallel Undergraduate Training program and the associate training program of Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degree.
– Implement the collaborative research programs in Economics and Business Administration as well as the research programs of mutual interest.
– Promote the establishment of the communication based of Kobe University at FTU.
– Increase the number of exchange students between the two universities.
